Identify the service involved
A domain registration, website host, and email provider may be three different services. Tell us which is changing and who currently manages the domain.
Coordinate DNS updates
Website routing and email delivery use different DNS records. Before changing or deleting records, preserve the existing configuration and confirm the replacement values with the relevant provider.
Verify after the change
Check the website, HTTPS, forms, and email after a planned update. If a problem begins after a DNS change, include the time of the change and contact the person managing the domain. Do not share registrar passwords by email.
